God called Pastor Kerry into ministry out of his home church in Mount Joy, Chiques UMC, more than 34 years ago. He has served rural, urban, and small town/suburban communities. When asked, “to which setting do you feel most called?” Kerry’s response is “I am most called to the place in which I currently find myself.” Kerry believes God has directed his steps throughout his ministry life (Proverbs 16:9), and he believes that God is now calling him to Saint Paul’s. 

Kerry is a graduate of Messiah College with a bachelor’s in biblical studies, as well as a graduate of Evangelical School of Theology with a Master of Divinity and Master of the Arts in Religion. He exhibits gifts in leadership, administration, and compassion, and he brings an ethos of empowering lay leadership, deep listening, and a humble authenticity. 

Kerry and Alison were married on November 7, 2025. They enjoy walking with each other, mornings that begin with coffee and conversation, just being in each other’s presence, and praying together. They love their adopted 7-year-old Shih Tzu mix named Onyx.

Kerry enjoys playing golf and watching football when in season. Alison enjoys art, crafting, card-making and connecting with her children, grandchildren, and friends. Alison has 4 children and 5 grandchildren.
