For years, our church has been supporting Samaritan’s Purse, Operation Christmas Child, with Shoebox donations. This opportunity allows families to take a shoebox and fill it with items that might bring a child joy this Christmas season. Samaritan’s Purse then shipped out our boxes to 3rd world countries around the globe.

How can you help? This year, we have 2 ways…

The first...

-Take an empty box and a label home.

-Fill with items from the recommended list.

-Bring the filled box back unwrapped by Nov 22.

The second…

-Choose a note card/sticky note from the lobby board.

-Bring the item back to the church by Nov 11 so we can use them in our children’s shoebox packing event.

Shoebox Filler Ideas:

toy cars, small stuffed animals, small dolls, washcloths, combs, hairbrushes, yo-yos, small musical instruments, notebooks, paper, pencils and sharpeners, crayons, pens/markers, coloring books, picture books, socks, flashlights and extra batteries, fun jewelry, and watches.
